Reviews

E

Luffness was once rumoured to have the best greens in Scotland. I dont know about that but I played there last week and I have to say they are the best greens I have putted on this year. Fast and true. When the wind blows the course play about 4-5 shots harder.

Great Course

We played at Luffness in September 2004 the day before we played at Muirfield. We had a great time! the course was in excellent condition and the greens were fast and true, the par three's played very tough with each hole playing into a strong wind, in our four ball our handicaps ranged from 6 to 13 and nobody hit a green! If you are in East Lothian play this course. Jamie Smith - Lincoln Golf Club

Open 2002 Qualifier

I fell in love with Luffness New at the recent Open Qualifying Competition. It is traditional links golf, you never get bored with playing it and it is the way that golf should be played.

Overseas visitor

A day at Luffness is an experience. The best way to enjoy it is to don jacket and tie, start with 2 gin and tonics followed by a great lunch, then play this traditional links course with the best greens in Scotland.
